Welcome to Albatross Access. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Albatross Access platform, including our website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Definitions

"Clubs" refers to golf clubs that have registered with Albatross Access to manage visitor requests.

"Golfers" refers to individuals who have registered with Albatross Access to request access to Clubs.

"Users" refers to both Clubs and Golfers.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Clubs must verify their identity through our verification process, which may include domain validation and other confirmation steps. Golfers may be required to verify their handicap and other credentials to access certain features.

4. Service Description

Albatross Access provides a platform that allows Clubs to manage visitor requests and Golfers to request access to participating Clubs. The Service includes features such as:

  • Account creation and management
  • Club profile management
  • Tee time inventory management
  • Visitor qualification and approval workflows
  • Payment processing
  • Messaging and notifications

Albatross Access does not guarantee access to any Club. All visitor requests are subject to Club approval, and Clubs maintain complete discretion over who accesses their facilities.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
  • Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Service
  • Circumvent or modify any security technology or software that is part of the Service

6. Payment Terms

Clubs may set their own green fees and visitor requirements. Albatross Access charges a service fee for facilitating bookings, which is clearly displayed during the booking process. All payments are processed securely through our payment providers.

Refunds are subject to each Club's cancellation policy, which will be displayed during the booking process. Albatross Access service fees may be non-refundable in certain circumstances.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Albatross Access and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or exploit the Service or its content in any way without our permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Albatross Access and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
  • Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted to or through the Service
  • Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the Service

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Albatross Access and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from your use of and access to the Service or your violation of these Terms.

Albatross Access reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

Cancellation Policy

General Guidelines

While each club sets its own specific policies, here are some general guidelines:

  • Early Cancellations: Most clubs offer full or partial refunds for cancellations made 7 or more days in advance.
  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 7 days of the booking date may be subject to partial refunds or no refunds, depending on the club's policy.
  • No-Shows: No refunds are typically provided for no-shows.

Weather Cancellations

In case of inclement weather:

  • If the club closes the course, a full refund will typically be provided.
  • If the course remains open but conditions are unfavorable, the standard cancellation policy of the club applies.

Albatross Access Service Fee

Please note that the Albatross Access service fee may be non-refundable in certain circumstances, even if the club provides a refund for the green fee.

How to Cancel a Booking
